I: The student can be awarded degree for 200 credits by exempting maximum of 2 subjects of 2 credits each for I year (1^st and 2^nd Semester combined) and any one subject of 4 credits from    II year to IV year of odd and even semesters.

II: The student can be awarded degree for 200 credits by exempting any 2 subjects of 4 credits

      each from II year to IV year of odd and even semesters.

Also, the students of 2010 to 2012 batch admitted will be awarded B.Tech degrees as per the following grades listed below:

I)Procedure to apply for Provisional Certificates (PC) & Consolidated Marks Memos (CMM)
I) Procedure to obtain PC & CMM [Tatkal Process] 1. Provisional Certificate application signed by the college Principal
2. Consolidated Marks Memo certified by the concerned college Principal
3. Attested copies of all Marks Memos from SSC up to the Degree.
4. DD for Rs. 3,000/- drawn in the name of The Registrar, JNTU Kakinada, payable at Kakinada

5.Students who failed in 1, 2, 3 subjects & wish to leave then under exemption rule need to submit the undertaking form. [Only For B.Tech Courses]

JNTUK introduces the online procedure for applying Original Degree

Here we are providing how to apply ORIGINAL DEGREE online:

2.GO to certificate type  in that  select Original Degree  and enter hall ticket number in Enter HallTicket Number. If you enter the hall ticket number in small letters it will show that you Invalid hallticketno format. so, make sure that you are using caps-lock while typing the hallticket number.

Note: If you type in small letters also it will display capital so make sure you are typing in caps-lock mode only

If u get  “You are eligible for applying ORIGINAL Degree Certificate with fee of 3500 only” then u can click on the below button. Before clicking the button follow the instructions given below.

Step-1:- This application is meant for The candidates who are passed outs from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Kakinada during the years (2009,2010,2011,2012,2013,2014,2015,2016) and obtained their Provisional Degree & CMM certificates are eligible for applying Original Degree certificates.
Step-2:- The students have to pay the amount in respect to the year of passing.

For 2009 passed out students Rs. 5000(Post Convocation)
For 2010 passed out students Rs. 4500(Post Convocation)
For 2011 passed out students Rs. 4000(Post Convocation)
For 2012 passed out students Rs. 3500(Post Convocation)
For 2013 passed out students Rs. 3000(Post Convocation)
For 2014 passed out students Rs. 2500(Post Convocation)
For 2015 passed out students Rs. 2000(Post Convocation)
For 2016 passed out students Rs. 3500(Pre Convocation)

Step-3:-The amount can be paid either by making online Payment (using Master/Visa Credit/Debit (ATM) cards) or by making the payments at any branch of SBI using the on-line Challan generated by this Online Daily_wise OD Application.

Instructions for Payment:

• The online original degree application fee amount can be paid either by online Payment (using Master/Visa Credit/Debit (ATM) cards) or by making the payments at any branch of SBI using the online Challan generated through this Online original degree Application.
• If u are applying online then you will get above screen then check on  box and click on proceed
• Select JNTUK ORIGINAL DEGREE FEE {POST OR PRE }CONVOCATION  from the Select Payment Category

Note:If you belong to 2016 batch then select pre convocation and others can select post convocation

• Provide the details of the candidate. Conform the details like Hall ticket number, Name, Course, Branch, year of passing, contact number, email ID, etc and  also verify the payment details and confirm. Then click on the submit.

You can see the Verify details and confirm this transaction page,verify your details and click on conform if the details are correct Select the payment options among Net banking, Debit/Credit cards, SBI branch challan payment and make the necessary payment. Don’t forget to take a printout of payment details and preserve for further use. The candidate can take printout of e-Receipt of State Bank Collect payment at any time by providing information like contact number, Date of birth, date of payment, etc in the State Bank Collect page.

Now, login into your account and pay the amount. After paying the amount it will take sometime to get your payment details. You will get  Bank DU No. to your mobile no. and email id that you have given.

Step-4:-List of Scanned Documents are required before applying ONLINE-OD

• Document 1:-Bank Payment form or Bank challan form which contains Hall ticket number, Bank payment reference number (DU number) and contact number given during payment.
• Document 2:-Secondary School Certificate(SSC) – (in pdf and size between 50 kB to 200kB each).
• Document 3:-Provisional Certificate obtain from the University(PC)- (in pdf and size between 50 KB to 200KB each).
  (Plz Verify the Student Name,Student Fathername printed on Provisional certificates as per SSC.
  If any mistake found plz immediately change the Provisional certificate in University and then apply.)
• Document 4:- Consolidated Marks Memo for only(B.Tech / B.Pharmcy Course Students) – (in pdf and size between 50 kB to 200kB each)
• Document 5:-All Semeter Marks Memos for P.G. Courses – (in pdf/Zip/Rar and size less than 500kB).
• Document 6:- Recent Passport size colour photograph (in jpg/jpeg format and size less than 100kB).
  The Passport size photo must be save with your hallticket number for example:10791A0404.jpg

Step-5:-Passport size Photograph Directions:

1. Photograph must be a recent passport style colour picture.
2. Please Donot upload Selfie Photographs
3. Make sure that the picture is in colour, taken against a light-coloured, preferably white, background.
4. Look straight at the camera with a relaxed face if the picture is taken on a sunny day, have the sun behind you, or place yourself in the shade, so that you are not squinting and there are no harsh shadows if you wear glasses make sure that there are no reflections and your eyes can be clearly seen.
5. Caps,hats and dark glasses are not acceptable. Regligious headwear is allowed but it must not cover your face.
6. Dimensions 456 x 568 pixels (preferred) Size of file should be between 80-100 kb
7. the image must be save with your hallticket number for example:10791A0404.jpg
8. the image must be save with jpg format.

Step-6:-The Candidate has to upload Educational Details(like PC,CMM,SSC,PHOTO) and Personal details in online-application after the next day of bank payment.

Step-7:-After successful completion of application, the application will be given a unique application number. Quote this application number and maintain the Generated Application form for further correspondences.

Name Correction is that if the Student had any mistake in his Name he/she can apply for correcting their name. The name of the candidate will be changed according to his/she name mentioned in the SSC marks list. The student After applying the all the proofs needed for the name correction it takes 6-7 days to correct your name. The candidate have to pay some amount in the form of DD registered by JNTU kakinada.

Eligibility for Special Grace Marks:(Note: this is addition to the  failed  subject grace marks only)

1. A Maximum of 0.15%(Upto 8 marks only) adjustment marks shall be added to the latest performance of failed theory subjects and limited to only two failed subjects only.
2.  The required marks shall be adjusted from external marks of passed subjects of the final year Project/seminar/Theory only, both for UG and PG programmes.
3. The Candidate must have appeared at least one supplementary examination.

Note: This Rule is not applicable for the persons who have 2 subjects in 1st year

1. The Student who is applying for Grace Marks Should get a request letter through principal of his college.
2. Also need Original Marks Memo Containing the subjects  for which Additional Grace Marks are applicable and final year project/seminar/theory only.

4. Grace Marks is applicable for all UG/PG courses.
